Japanese Garden Bonn
#Bonn, #Rheinaue, #Mohammed
What a day here at the Japanese Garden in Bonn. I had an amazing bicycle trip in one of the beautiful Statepark in Germany – The Bonner Rheinaue. In there I spotted a small, but beautiful Japanese garden in its original form.
The Rheinaue Japanese Garden offers visitors an escape from urbanized city life. This cultural space of five hectares was created and donated to the City of Bonn. Visitors to this unique park can enjoy its numerous waterfalls, ponds, and bridges as well as the several pavilions and tea houses found within its borders.
Let’s walk in and share some Japanese spirits. This beautiful garden was donated by the Japanese Government to the citizens of Bonn in 1979. This green space of Bonn covers the Japanese Garden, the large boating lake surrounded by birds and animals and much more.
Here are 10 things you didn’t know about this unique world heritage site.
